WiLS Board Meeting—November 29, 2011
Present: Ewa Barczyk (UW – Milwaukee), Martha Berninger (Resources for Libraries and Lifelong Learning/DPI), Esther Frost (Arcadia School District), Julie Kamikawa (Mount Mary), Paula Kiely (Milwaukee Public Library), Stef Morrill (WiLS), Matt Rosendahl (Wisconsin Indianhead Tech. College), Scott Silet (UW – La Crosse), Lisa Viezbicke (Beloit College), David Weinhold (Eastern Shores Library System), Pat Wilkinson (UW – Oshkosh)
Guests: All WiLS staff was present for the strategic planning portion of the meeting. Dan Reed, consultant for the strategic planning, was also present.
- Approval of July 28, 2011 minutes: M. Rosendahl moved approval of the July 28, 2011 minutes. S. Silet seconded. Minutes approved unanimously.
- Strategic planning: The WiLS staff joined the board for a moderated discussion related to WiLS services and strategic directions. The information from the discussion will be used in the creation of a strategic plan.
- Next meeting: The next meeting will be a virtual meeting in late January to review the draft strategic plan. S. Morrill will schedule the meeting with the board.
S. Silet moved adjournment; D. Weinhold seconded. The meeting adjourned at 3:00.
