Overdrive ebooks/audiobooks
Currently there are two programs being offered to K12 schools from OverDrive: School Download Library and Audiobook Classroom
School Download Library is very similar to the OverDrive program subscribed to by WPLC. It is a 24/7 web-based extension of the school library. Both eBooks and audiobooks are available on a single website for easy browse, checkout and download. Schools can create a digital book collection based on students' needs, with more than 100,000 popular and educational titles from over 500 publishers to choose from.

Pricing based on enrollment average price is $4,000 with $2,000 allocated to collection development
Two user options: Always Available * (note not all publishers allow for this option) and One User, One Copy

Audiobook Classroom provides 1,001 audiobooks on every school computer and iPod®. Designed to improve reading skills with audiobooks for assigned and recreational reading. Students can read in the classroom, in the library or take with them on mp3 players and portable devices.
Features include:
Titles are loaded on school server.
Great for schools with low bandwidth.
Unlimited simultaneous users.
Affordable: Approximately $2500 with preselected titles.
