WiLS customizes workshops for library personnel and patrons on a variety of topics, e.g., library automation, eBooks, email, electronic discussion groups, OCLC systems (FirstSearch, Connexion, WorldCat), digital collection development, the Web, RSS, blogs, and Virtual Reference systems (AskAway). Workshops can be designed for beginning or advanced levels.
WiLS offers training via several delivery options.
The choice should be determined by the workshop's purpose and the library's
needs. These choices include in-person lecture,
WisLine
Web (web-conferencing system) session or hands-on presentation at a library's computer
