Peer Council
Peer Council is a technical services user group. In Wisconsin, it is important to the WiLS member libraries that the aspect of equal participation by all be emphasized and always apparent with the use of the word "peer". Member libraries have one representative to the Peer Council, usually chosen by the library. WiLS member libraries elect officers to the Peer Council board.

Biannual Peer Council Meetings (see Spring Peer Council, May 20, 2008) Peer Council meetings are an opportunity to talk with your peers and appreciate WiLS member library differences, as well as similarities. These meetings occur in October and May. Speakers and topics are chosen by the Peer Council officers with WiLS staff assistance.
