Facts on File/Infobase Learning recently launched an upgraded and expanded site with specially created video content, lessons and teacher resources all in a brand-new design! New to the database are 25 enhanced lessons, each introduced by an exciting, original, three-minute video that provides compelling visual context as it sets out the issue and controversy covered by the article. These enhanced lessons, accessible to teachers via password, also include teacher resources--learning objectives to use in curriculum planning along with standards, discussion questions, printable activity sheets, self-assessment, quizzes and additional activities and questions to take the lesson further. The new design conveniently groups every article according to the ten major eras that conform to national history standards. All articles are correlated to state and national history standards and indexed to 20 key subjects.
