UW-Madison ILL Lending
WiLS contracts with UW-Madison to provide their
interlibrary lending service, handling all
UW-Madison GLS lending, integrating all GZM
requests and local patron requests into the
same workflow as Wisconsin requests. The
UW-Madison Lending department is housed with
WiLS ILL, and all ILL requests are integrated
into the WiLS ILL workflow. WiLS receives
over 70,000 requests each year, mostly through
the OCLC symbol GZM. WiLS members' Direct
Request items are processed through ILLiad.
WiLS also receives fax, mail, Library Express
email, and Web requests, and fills requests
from libraries all over the world. For more

Library Express
Library Express is a service of the UW-Madison Libraries for all UW-Madison
faculty, staff and students. UW-Madison users may request campus document
delivery, interlibrary loan, distance circulation, and distance interlibrary
loan services through Library Express. The Library Express service supports
the instructional, research and scholarly activities of UW-Madison faculty,

Distance Library Services--Distance Circulation/Distance ILL
UW-Madison faculty, staff, and students who do not currently live in Dane
County can request books to be delivered to their homes free of charge.
WiLS provides the Distance Circulation service and plays a vital role
in Distance Interlibrary Loan. WiLS processes all Distance Circulation
requests for these patrons, and WiLS ships all Distance ILL requests (UW-Madison's
Interlibrary Borrowing department borrows the books that UW-Madison does
