Mashing It Up (April 18)
Tom Zillner, WiLS

"Mashups" have become all the rage in the Web world. What are mashups? To quote Wikipedia: "A mashup is a website or web application that seamlessly combines content from more than once source into an integrated experience." Mashups can be useful for libraries that have a web presence, as well as for individuals to help meet their professional and personal information needs. Tom demonstrated some examples of library-related and other mashups, discussed how they work, and presented a method to construct mashups that anyone can try out.
