Brenda Bailey-Hainer, Executive Director of BCR

Brenda Bailey-Hainer has been the Executive Director of the BCR network since July 2006. Prior to that time Brenda spent was the Director of Networking and Resource Sharing at the Colorado State Library. Brenda also heads the Steering Committee for the Rethinking Resource Sharing Initiative, an ad hoc group that advocates retooling the way libraries conduct resource sharing to incorporate global and technological advances. (see Brenda's Resource Sharing Innovative Ideas presentation).

In 2008, BCR is promoting rethinking resource sharing with three Innovation Awards worth $1000. For details, submission, and deadline information see Innovation Awards.

Mark Beatty, WiLS

Mark Beatty is Training and Automation Librarian for Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS) and is the current elected President of LITA, the Library and Information Technology Association division of ALA. At WiLS he serves primarily as trainer and consortial wrangler for interlibrary loan, eBooks, and virtual reference services. Mark is also the chief coordinator for AskAway, a Wisconsin virtual reference consortium.
