WiLS may cancel workshops due to lack of registrants. The decision to cancel may be made as early as two weeks prior to the session. In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel a workshop will be made, when feasible, by 5:00 on the day prior to the session and all registrants will be notified. Cancellations due to last minute weather emergencies will be posted on WiLS's voice mail system for 608 263-5051 by 7:00 a.m. on the day of the session. Staff will also make an effort to contact registrants via email. If in doubt, please call 608 263-4962. If WiLS makes the decision to hold the workshop regardless of weather conditions, you should make every effort to attend.
Participant's
Cancellation: Please call us as early as possible if you are not able to attend
a workshop for which you are registered. In cases where enrollment is limited,
early notification allows us to extend space to another member. There is no penalty
for cancellation of registration 24 hours or more prior to a workshop. Cancellation
with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend a workshop, will still incur
the full workshop fee. If illness or emergency prevents you from attending a workshop,
please ask someone from your library to notify the WiLS office or to attend the
workshop in your place.
