ILL Basics and Tricks

OCLC ILL Basics (see a web version of the course)
This lively hands on workshop covers basic procedures in using the OCLC Interlibrary Loan system known as WorldCat Resource Sharing. We'll explore responsibilities as a lender and a borrower, identifying holding libraries, retrieving union list groups, choosing the right libraries from which to make a request, creating and sending requests, setting up constant data, using IFM (Interlibrary Loan Fee Management), procedures for copyright compliance, and uses for the ILL Policies Directory.

OCLC ILL Tricks (see a web version of the course)
ILL Tricks helps maximize your staff time using the OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing system for ILL. Emphasis is on advanced techniques, new features and upcoming enhancements in the FirstSearch ILL Staff view of WorldCat Resource Sharing, including but not limited to IFM (Interlibrary Loan Fee Management), multiple Constant Data, ILL Policies and Deflection, Custom Holdings and setting up Direct Request Profiles for patron initiated ILL.
