Introduction to Using CONTENTdm for Digital Projects.

CONTENTdm is software used to build digital collections of images, documents, video, and audio. It provides the tools to organize, publish, manage, and search digital collections on the Web. Designed for individuals new to using CONTENTdm software for their institution's digital projects, this full day, hands-on workshop will provide a basic overview of CONTENTdm and its functionality. By the end of this course, participants will be able to do the following:

Who should attend?: Any "cultural heritage" institution staff member that currently uses, or plans to use CONTENTdm.

Presenter Bio: Sharon Schwartz in an Electronic/Reference Librarian at Oshkosh Public Library, who has been involved with CONTENTdm digital projects since 2002. She's been instrumental in developing some important collections at Oshkosh Public, including "Oshkosh Businesses", "Main Street", "Oshkosh" and "Barns of Winnebago County". Oshkosh was the first public library in Wisconsin to use CONTENTdm and is a member of WHO.
