Project MUSE® offers over 220 quality journal titles from 37 scholarly
publishers. As one of the academic community's primary electronic periodicals
resources, Project MUSE covers the fields of literature and criticism, history,
the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science,
gender studies, economics, and many others. Project MUSE is setting the standard
for scholarly electronic journals in the humanities and social sciences.
When a library subscribes to Project MUSE, the database is made available
to the entire campus, not just to workstations at the library. Using any
World Wide Web browser (such as Netscape or Internet Explorer), faculty,
students, staff and library patrons of subscribing institutions can view
and search the database from campus offices, labs, and dorms all without
the need for passwords. We encourage subscribing libraries to link directly
to the MUSE journals from the library's web pages, online catalog, electronic
reserves, and online syllabi to further assist the campus community in finding
these valuable research materials.
Some features include:
Downloadable subject guides for 15 key academic disciplines covered
by MUSE, including journal lists and searching tips
