ebsco A 2 Z.

EBSCO A-to-Z provides your patrons a single, comprehensive list of titles to which they have access.  Search for journals by keyword or browse an alphabetical list by title or subject to quickly find journals of interest.  Built-in administrative tools allow customization of the list, including extensive branding options that allow the list to match the colors and style of your library’s other Web-based services.

The master A-to-Z title database provides link and coverage information to more than 76,000 unique titles from more than 750 database and e-journal packages from approximately 100 different providers. All major database vendors and publishers are represented. Your print titles can be included.  A-to-Z also offers access to hundreds of free online journals, such as those found in the Directory of Open Access Journals ( www.doaj.org ), PubMed® Central ( www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov )

To save you the time and hassle of organizing, updating and maintaining myriad changes to your collections, you can subscribe to thevaluable add-on service, A-to-Z with MARC Updates.  This service provides a single file in MARC 21 format representing the library’s e-resource holdings, title URLs and online coverage information.  It supplies quality bibliographic records from CONSER and monthly updates to facilitate online catalog maintenance

When you use theLinkSource OpenURL link resolver with A-to-Z, you control item-level linking among your library’s various online resources.  Using LinkSource’s extensive knowledge base, you can select the appropriate resources to be linked and apply the conditions that determine when the links display. LinkSource presents links to the full text to which the user has rights or to other relevant services such as the library catalog, an ILL request form or document delivery order form.  LinkSource works with any other OpenURL-compliant information source, regardless of vendor and LinkSource links to hundreds of targets including, full-text databases, OPACs, e-journal gateway sites, publisher sites, abstract and index services and more.
