Bar codes in automated circulation systems can provide virtually error-free
data collection at high speed. The key to success with bar code labels lies
in the quality of the label itself. Bar code labels that fall off, fail to
be read on the first scan, or worse, read incorrectly, all prevent your automated
circulation system from doing its job.
Bar codes from Computype are custom built for the library environment and
will work with all systems.
Photographic image quality ensures first-pass read rates of 100% - regardless
of scanning method or light source.
Archival nature of Computype¹s labels means they are extremely resistant
to fading, even in extended U.V. exposure, and are specially coated to be
resistant to abrasion.
Special adhesives ensure the label will stay securely affixed to the
item book, periodical, media or patron card.
- All labels are made using photographic technology on acid free, non-yellowing paper stock, and P1522 library adhesive.
- Labels must be ordered in multiples of 1,000.
- Sheet stock is 11.75 x 8.00 inches. Format 5700 prints 72 labels per sheet,
- Format 5600 prints 48 labels per sheet.
- Standard Order = 5,000 or more labels.
- Small Order: 2,000, 3,000 or 4,000 labels ‹ incur extra charge of $15.00.
- Small libraries may combine orders into a single order shipped and invoiced to a single address. Each library may still specify imprint and numerical sequences. Use "Comments" to indicate imprints, starting numbers, and quantities.
- Orders will ship within two weeks of order placement.
