Columbia Granger's® World of Poetry Online
www.columbiagrangers.org
Beginning with the publication of Grangers® Index to Poetry in
1904, the Grangers name has been synonymous with the definitive resource
for locating a poem in English. Now available on the web, Columbia Grangers
World of Poetry Online is a comprehensive database of poetry with nearly
300,000 poem citations and 30,000 full-text poems, which can be searched
by author, author category, subject, words in complete poem and excerpts,
words in title, first line, and last line. Also included are commentaries
on the poems, biographies of their authors, and an extensive glossary
all inter-linked. The database is updated quarterly, typically with
3,000+ new poems in full-text, additional commentaries and biographies,
new letters from the editor William Harmon, and transcripts of his
interviews with noted poets.
