Aeon Managing Special Collections enables special collections libraries to provide better customer service in a more secure and controlled environment.

Aeon is licensed through WILS. Pricing is based on institution size broken down as follows:

• ARL Libraries and other Large Libraries and Archives
• Other University and College Libraries, Public Libraries, and Independent Research Libraries, Large Historical Societies, and Archives
• Small Historical Societies and other Small Repositories

Purchasing Ares
The Ares software is licensed as an annual subsciption with pricing based on the full time enrollment (FTE's) of your institution. The Software License Fee authorizes the use of Ares and covers all updates and new releases during the license period. This fee also includes unlimited telephone and email support.

Initial Implementation Fee
The Initial Implementation Fee includes remote installation of Ares software on your local server, four hours of remote web-based training, and four hours of remote web-based help sessions to answer questions and help configure the system.

Ares electronic reserves mangement system was designed to automate library reserve services and provide fast effective use for faculty, students and reserve staff. (system requirements)
