Oral History Presentation: Sifting and Winnowing
with Debbie Cardinal and Troy Reeves
The newish head of the UW-Madison Oral History Program, Troy Reeves,
will give a brief powerpoint presentation on oral history, briefly
discuss related issues with Debbie Cardinal, and take any audience
questions. Reeves wants this presentation to serve as a starting point
to himself and the oral history program, meaning he will offer his
contact information to anyone interested in discussing oral history in
more detail at a later date. Reeves has worked in oral history since
interviewing his grandmothers for a U.S. History course nearly twenty
years ago and has conducted over hundreds of oral history recordings and
overseen several oral history projects.
